Surfing needs guys like this who surf beyond the safety zone. Instead of
doing the same safe front side hack/floater/cutback/tube combos, they push
the boundaries. I won't name names, but lots of the top 44 play it safe.
If you're in the top 44 and can't do the maneuvers that some non CT surfers
can, you should really rethink your game plan. Steve Vai said you don't get good
by practicing the stuff you can do, but by practicing the stuff you can't do.
